Q: Do you vaccinate your children, and how do you feel about vaccination requirements for children entering the school system?
SEAT A
Margo Bellamy
Yes, I vaccinated my children. I support the vaccination requirement for children entering public schools. I also respect the rights of parents who choose not to vaccinate their children.
Kai Binkley Sims
I do vaccinate my children, and vaccination requirements should be strict.
SEAT B
Starr Marsett
Yes, all children are required to get vaccinated for the safety of others.
David Nees
Yes, I did have both of my children vaccinated. The recent measles outbreak in the Lower 48 shows the efficacy of the program. The outbreak in British Columbia was due to a family visiting a country where vaccinations are not prescribed. Vaccination is not a choice that schools can or should waive, as it is good public health policy.
