List: Structural engineers trained on post-earthquake inspections in Southcentral Alaska

As Southcentral Alaska homeowners take stock of the damage wrought by Friday’s magnitude 7.0 earthquake, the Structural Engineers Association of Alaska has compiled a list of businesses with structural engineers trained to complete post-earthquake inspections.

If you’re calling about a structural engineering damage evaluation, SEAAK recommended that you have the following information on hand: 1) the address of the property to be inspected; 2) a description of the property (for example, whether it’s a single-family residence or multi-story office building); 3) damage description and observations; and 4) any other specific concerns.
