Nobody hurt in Midtown Anchorage mobile home fire

Anchorage Fire Department crews responding to a trailer fire in Midtown on Friday morning said no injuries were reported.

AFD Chief Dennis LeBlanc said by phone that a dozen units were dispatched to the fire, on the 3000 block of Arctic Boulevard, in response to an 8:23 a.m. call. Responding crews found fire underneath the trailer.

Steve Mendive, an EMS battalion chief at the scene, said the fire was under control with no injuries by 8:45 a.m. Firefighters were investigating the exact origin and cause of the fire.

"That's still being determined," Mendive said.
