Watch live: Alaska officials give update on COVID-19 health mandate, correctional facilities at 5 p.m. Wednesday

Gov. Mike Dunleavy and Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Commissioner Adam Crum will announce updates to the state’s health mandate on elective medical procedures in a media briefing at 5 p.m. today. Nancy Dahlstrom, the commissioner of the Alaska Department of Corrections, will also discuss COVID-19 measures being taken at correctional facilities in the state. Dr. Anne Zink, the state’s chief medical officer, will also participate in the briefing.
