Cosplay Day draws out characters at the Alaska State Fair in Palmer

Fair-goers came dressed as characters from anime, video games and action hero movies and comics.

Cosplay Day, one of several daily themes at the Alaska State Fair this year, added color to the crowds on Thursday. Cosplay Day invited fair-goers to attend in the costume of a character from anime, video games, superhero stories and more. The events tent hosted a cosplay meet-and-greet and a competition, and costumed attendees stopped one anther to chat and take pictures all over the fairgrounds.
