I just want to say it’s not the lack of public pensions causing difficulty filling state and city positions; it’s the incompetence of the human resources departments making it so hard to get a job nobody wants to go through the nightmare and long period of waiting.
I have a number of friends applying who either hear nothing or are turned down, even though they are qualified with the private sector. So audit and fix the HR department, and the problem will be fixed.
