A Saturday afternoon running clinic featuring Olympic runner and author Jeff Galloway is among the Anchorage RunFest events on tap this weekend.
Formerly the Big Wild Life Runs, the RunFest features multiple races in two days — a mile run and kids run Saturday, and a marathon, half-marathon, 49K and 5K on Sunday.
The centerpiece race is Sunday's Moose's Tooth Marathon.
Galloway, an Atlanta man who raced the 10,000 meters at the 1972 Olympics, is an author whose work appears regularly in Runner's World. He ran his 200th marathon on his 70th birthday last summer.
