UAA was eliminated from playoff consideration in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association and had its Governor's Cup lead trimmed Friday night, March 6, 2015, when UAF won 1-0 in Game 3 of the four-game series for Alaska superiority. Tayler Munson's first-period goal held up and Nanooks senior Sean Cahill stopped 22 shots at Sullivan Arena. UAA leads the Cup series, 2-1, courtesy of two wins in Fairbanks in January – the Seawolves prevailed 2-1 and 3-2 in overtime. UAA freshman goaltender Olivier Mantha, who stopped 80 of 83 shots in backstopping the Seawolves to wins in Games 1 and 2 of Cup, stopped 23 shots.
