Friends and family are protesting the plea bargain agreement that would give a teenage girl a one-year sentence after she pleaded guilty to a criminally negligent homicide and DUI charges. Almost 3,500 people have signed an online petition requesting that Attorney General Craig Richards to reject any sentencing recommendation and let the judge decide the appropriate sentence for Alexandra Ellis.
