6,000 people participated in the Heart Run on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Anchorage's university district. The Heart Run, a benefit for the American Heart Association, is one of Alaska's largest races.

Among the 6,000 participants in this year's Heart Run, a few managed to distance themselves from the crowd during the 5-kilometer race.

Hallidie Wilt won her third strait Heart Run on Saturday, and Jake Moe won for the first time, after finishing second three years in a row.
