Wesley Loy is a business reporter covering the Alaska oil and gas industry and commercial fisheries for the Anchorage Daily News. He is a native of Tennessee and joined the Daily News in 1999. He previously worked as a reporter for the Knoxville (Tenn.) News Sentinel and the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel. He has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Tennessee and a master's in Southern studies from the University of Mississippi.
