Born in California, George Bryson moved to Alaska in 1979. Since then he's worked for the Daily News as a reporter, magazine writer, assistant city editor, Washington correspondent, editor of the former "We Alaskans" Sunday magazine -- and now writes general assignment feature stories.
Bryson has a bachelor's degree in speech communication and a master's of fine arts degree in creative writing. He's taught journalism and creative writing at both UAA and UAF.
