Born in Tidewater, Virginia, Elizabeth Bluemink moved to Alaska in 2004 and has been filing stories about Alaska's natural resources ever since.
She writes about mining, Native corporations, tourism and other industries for the Daily News. Previously, she worked as a newspaper reporter in Virginia, Alabama, Florida and was awarded a Ted Scripps journalism fellowship at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
