Daisy Page's one-out, walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning Saturday lifted East to a 3-2 Cook Inlet Conference softball victory over South at Albrecht Fields.
Page also struck out eight to earn a complete-game victory.
South scored two runs in the top of the seventh to seize a 2-0 lead. In the bottom of the inning, Olivia Webster drew a lead-off walk and Sierra Rosenzweig's one-out double advanced Webster to third base. Page followed with a line drive over the fence in left-center field.
Earlier, Alex Joubert homered to lead East to a 13-1 win over Eagle River.
Service doubles up
Service pocketed two victories Saturday at Albrecht Fields, beating Bartlett 7-4 and handling Eagle River 13-3 in five innings.
Sophie Bethke struck out 11 in six innings to spark the Cougars' win over Bartlett.
The Cougars scored four runs in both the first and second innings against Eagle River to support Kamryn Frisk's four-hitter.
Frisk also drove in three runs in the first two innings with a run-scoring single and a two-run double.
