UAA's ski team has announced its first alpine recruit of the offseason with the addition of Dominic Unterberger of Revelstoke, British Columbia.
Unterberger, who finished seventh in the combined event at the Canadian national championships earlier this spring. He'll be a true freshman.
"Dominic is a guy who has been fighting his way up and has finished in the top-five at Nor-Am's,'' said UAA head ski coach Sparky Anderson. "Most recently, he's been successful in the slalom and super-G, and I'm really excited to be able to work with him on his giant slalom. I expect Dom to make an immediate impact.''
