Right-hander Jonny Homza pitched a no-hitter Thursday night to lead South past West 8-0 in a high school baseball game at Mulcahy Stadium.
Homza struck out eight and walked three during the seven-inning game to register the first no-hitter of his high school career.
"He kept them off-balance," South coach Taylor Nerland said.
Homza had plenty of run support from his teammates, who scored a run in each of the first six innings.
