Jason Lamoreaux and Ellie Mitchell earned the men's and women's expert titles, respectively, in the Arctic Bicycle Club's season-opening Arctic Valley Hill Climb on Tuesday night.
Lamoreaux covered the six-plus miles in 36 minutes flat for a cushion of 2:08 over runner-up Tim Berntson.
Mitchell clocked 51:28.
About 60 riders competed.
