The owner of a popular Fairbanks entertainment venue is looking for someone to take it off his hands.
The Blue Loon, a restaurant, movie theater and concert venue, is up for sale for $750,000, the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reported Tuesday.
The venue is owned by Rep. Adam Wool, D-Fairbanks, who told the News-Miner he doesn't have any specific buyer lined up to buy the property but he "said the space has potential for someone looking to take advantage of the state's new marijuana regulations."
He also told the newspaper that he had been considering selling the Blue Loon for a while. Wool has owned and operated the venue for the past 19 years, according to the News-Miner. Among the big-name acts the Blue Loon has played host to are rapper Snoop Dogg in 2010, and folk-rockers the Indigo Girls in 2007.
