Anchorage's Midnight Sun Club volleyball team took second place in the Gold division at the "In It To Win It" Challenge tournament, which took place Saturday to Monday in Las Vegas.
The team, coached by Dimond High coaches Kim Lauwers and Stan Afoa, consisted of 16- and 17-year-old players, but Midnight Sun Club faced some 18U teams.
Lauwers said Midnight Sun Club finished as the top 17U team in its division.
