Dimond opened its baseball preseason with an offensive explosion and a 12-2 win over Palmer in five innings Friday at Bartlett High.
Noah Alexander led the Lynx with two runs, two RBIs and a stolen base on two hits. Dylan Montagna added two more runs and an RBI.
Damian Bailey provided one hit and one RBI for Palmer.
Dimond held Palmer to two hits in the game.
