Dimond boys 60, Service 34
A first-quarter tie turned into a 60-34 Dimond blowout over Service in a Cook Inlet Conference boys basketball game Thursday at Service.
Josh Fosi nailed 5 of 8 treys for 15 points to boost the Lynx from long range. Dylan Tufaga added 11 points on 4 of 6 shooting from the field.
Nathan Fromm registered 14 points as the only Cougar in double figures.
Service's shooting percentage dropped from 41 percent in the first half to a measly 20 percent in the second half.
Dimond 76 girls, Service 21
Alissa Pili and Whitney Shapp each poured in 20 points Thursday to help the Dimond girls overwhelm Service 76-21 in a CIC basketball game at Service.
Pili, a freshman, helped the Lynx dominate the paint. She and Makayla Maisey combined for 13 blocks.
Service was led by Gabby Broek's 10 points.
