South 12, Bartlett 1
Connor Orr had a hand in five goals Tuesday to help South breeze past Bartlett 12-1 in a Cook Inlet Conference hockey game at Ben Boeke Arena.
Orr scored three goals and assisted on two others. Providing two goals apiece for the Wolverines were Corbin Allen and Gens Juliussen, who added two assists.
South led 3-0 after one period and 6-0 after two. It was 12-0 when Bartlett's Cody Bell scored an unassisted goal.
Chugiak 12, East 1
Two players accounted for seven goals in Chugiak's 12-1 trouncing of East in a CIC hockey game Tuesday at the McDonald Center.
Zachary Krajnik tallied four goals and John Hammer scored three for the Mustangs, who led 3-0 after one period and 8-1 after two.
East got on the board in the second-period on an unassisted short-handed goal by Nicholas Eddens.
