Prep hockey: Service survives South in OT

Brandon Prewett's clutch overtime goal gave Service the 2-1 Cook Inlet Conference hockey win over South on Thursday at Ben Boeke Arena.

The goal came on a power play with less than three minutes remaining in overtime.

Both teams scored their regulation goals in the second period albeit in different ways. South scored first just seconds into the period on a goal from Connor Orr.

Service responded with less than a minute remaining in the period on a power-play goal by Luke Martensen.

Service goaltender Ronan Klancher stopped 29 shots in the win. South's Billy Ramsey had 24 saves.
