Prep volleyball: Wins for Dimond, South, Bartlett

Dimond 3, East 0

Dimond celebrated Senior Night by outlasting East in a competitive Cook Inlet Conference volleyball match Tuesday at Dimond.

Brynn Sulte tallied seven kills and eight digs to lead the Lynx to the 27-25, 25-20, 25-12 win.

"East played really well," Dimond coach Kim Lauwers said. "We had to battle for each point."

Kyla Liufau led East with 17 digs and eight kills. Daisy Page and Jemimah Suka each contributed 11 digs for the T-birds.

Jenna Hickel came through for Dimond with 23 digs. Claire Dieckgraeff added six kills, Cali Clark had five kills and five digs, and setters Madeleine LaPorte and Teuila Lolotae combined for 26 assists and 27 digs.

South 3, West 0

Makenna Hurt racked up 26 digs for South and Sofia Jepson had 18 for West, highlighting a defensive volleyball match that went South's way in a Tuesday CIC match at West.

Tatum Upchurch sparked the South offense with 13 kills, Ashton Jessee added nine kills and two blocks and Emma Kleven distributed 34 assists.

West got 21 assists, four kills and seven digs from setter Rosie Rush. Other top contributors included Mia Keyser (6 kills, 5 digs) and Kelsey Ross (3 aces, 5 digs).

In other CIC action Tuesday, Bartlett beat Eagle River in three sets.
