Anchorage police seek suspect in Midtown bank robbery

The Anchorage Police Department is looking for a man who robbed a Midtown bank Saturday morning, according to a press release.

Police responded to the Northrim Bank at 3111 C St. around 11 a.m. after a man walked into the bank, handed a teller a note and walked out with "an undisclosed amount of cash," the release said. The man did not have a visible weapon.

Police describe the suspect as a 50- to 60-year-old clean-shaven white man with shoulder-length gray and white wavy hair. He is said to be wearing all black and a dark baseball hat with light-colored stitching and a white logo.
