Who are the best Seattle Seahawks fans in Alaska? Apparently, they live in the Arctic.
Seahawks vice president Mike Flood told the Puget Sound Business Journal that out of all the Seahawks fans he, defensive tackle Jimmy Staten and linebacker Kevin Pierre-Lewis came across during a promotional trip to Alaska, the best were in Barrow.
The Seahawks raised the team's famed "12th Man" flag above Barrow's city hall, spoke with local youths in the gym, coached a football camp on Barrow's bright blue-turf field and even took a plunge into the Chukchi Sea.
The trio also spent time in Anchorage, Wasilla, Prudhoe Bay and Seward during the tour, the report said.
