Alaska State Troopers searching for Wasilla man -- again

Alaska State Troopers are asking for the public's help locating 30-year-old Wasilla resident Joshua Beebe, who's wanted on a warrant for cutting his ankle monitor off 20 minutes after he was released from jail on June 25.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Beebe for failure to comply with his release conditions on a felony theft case in Palmer, troopers said.

Authorities describe Beebe as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes, they said.

Troopers also sought Beebe on a parole warrant in January. They found him hiding in a cabinet under an apartment sink, and four people were charged for allegedly trying to hide him.

Anyone with information regarding Beebe's whereabouts is asked to call Alaska State Troopers at 907-352-5401 or Mat-Su Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.
