Alaska State Troopers say the death of a man found in a vehicle parked off the highway in Big Lake has been ruled a homicide.
Troopers identified the victim Thursday evening as Christopher Seaman, 23, of Palmer.
"Based on the investigation, cause of death was determined to be homicide," troopers said. The investigation is ongoing, they said.
Palmer-based troopers responded to a report of a "suspicious vehicle" parked off the highway shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
When troopers arrived, they found Seaman dead inside the vehicle. And based on the scene, troopers called the death suspicious.
A troopers spokesperson did not immediately respond to questions for more information.
In a Friday news release, troopers said they were seeking anyone with information about Seaman's activities or people he associated with between Monday afternoon and Tuesday night.
