Original story:

Anchorage police are looking for 33-year-old Denise Anntonette Estell, who is wanted on a felony assault warrant in connection with a shooting in Fairview on Sunday afternoon.

Police said in a release Monday that Estell and a 34-year-old woman were involved in a verbal altercation outside a residence on East 13th Avenue near Ingra Street shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Estell pulled out a weapon and shot the victim once in the chest, according to police.

The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment and released a few hours later, police said; she initially declined to identify the person who shot her.

Estell is described as black, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police said she fled the scene in a white Buick Rendezvous SUV with the license plate GXY642.
