The Chugiak and Eagle River girls soccer teams were undeterred by Monday's sloppy weather, playing to a 1-1 Cook Inlet Conference draw in a snowstorm at Chugiak's Tom Huffer Sr. Stadium.
Jordan Meredith put the Wolves up 1-0 with a first-half goal, and the Mustangs equalized on an Alexis McKinnon strike in the second.
Eagle River coach Laura Gardner said wind was a big factor in the outcome, with each team dominating the half in which it played with the wind at its back.
