It's that time of year again when dog owners are asked to help make sure the trails are clear of more than just snow -- Scoop the Poop Day is set for Saturday, April 18.
Volunteers will be on hand at University Lake and Connor's Bog unfenced dog parks from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with extra bags and equipment for those who need it.
If you can lend a hand at those locations and times, please do. Not only will the trails be cleaned up for summer, but our waterways will be spared the foul runoff.
If you can't make it at those times or locations, please take some time to clean up the trails you normally use this weekend.
