Small earthquake felt widely in Southcentral Alaska

Seismologists in Alaska say a light earthquake was widely felt in the state's largest city.

The Alaska Earthquake Center says the 4.3 magnitude quake occurred at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday and was felt throughout Anchorage, as well as the Mat-Su region.

There are no immediate reports of the earthquake causing damage.

The quake was centered 28 miles northeast of Talkeetna.
