Marquis White pumped in 31 points Saturday to spark East's 87-77 victory over Bartlett in a high-scoring Cook Inlet Conference game at East High.
Desmond Johnson poured in 15 points, Louis Bonner supplied 14 and Daon Jones added 12 for the T-birds.
Service 68, Chugiak 43
Pindo Drammeh's 17 points spearheaded Service's 68-43 win over Chugiak in a CIC boys basketball game Saturday at Service.
Nathan Fromm added 13 points, eight of them coming in the first quarter when the Cougars staked a 17-3 lead. Michael Lowe added 11 points.
Zach Hauger led Chugiak with 14 points, with all but two of them coming in the fourth quarter.
West 62, Eagle River 37
Brandon Huffman pumped in 11 points in the first half to help West pull away for a 62-37 triumph over Eagle River in CIC action Saturday at West High.
Huffman, who didn't score in the second half, was one of four Eagles to hit double figures. Da'Zhon Wyche led the way with 14, Darian Lawson added 13 and Devante Doutrive had 10.
Eagle River, which trailed by one after the first quarter and 11 at the half, got 10 points apiece from Wyatt Reiser and R.J. Dirscherl.
Dimond 53, South 33
Dimond dominated the second half and Mason Merchant delivered a double-double Saturday in a 53-33 CIC victory over South.
Merchant piled up 12 points and 14 rebounds for the visiting Lynx, who trailed 19-18 at the half. Muhamad Cole dropped in 14 points.
Parker Johnson and Jake Swanson each scored eight points for South, which was hampered by 24 turnovers.
