Parks Highway collision in Wasilla kills 1, injures 3

Four people were injured, one fatally, in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday on the Parks Highway at Church Road.

Wasilla Police Department spokeswoman Amanda Graham said police have reached next of kin of the deceased victim but would not release that person's name.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. By 4:45 p.m., the northbound Parks Highway had been reopened.

Wasilla police were investigating the accident with help from Alaska State Troopers.
